As our favorite restaurants close up their patios for the season, crisp air and fall foliage fill the streets. On October 26, Ypsi Real shared a video on that has received over 123,000 views on Facebook. Check out this 45 second video of Gabriel’s Cheese Steak Hoagies, and join the party. Gabriel’s is open year-round, and is continually hailed as one of the best hoagies spots in the region. Yum!
Despite the recent heatwave, November is typically the month in which we bust out old coats, gloves, hats, scarves, and all the cozy loot we can summon. That is why Growing Hope has been hard at work to bring the Ypsilanti INDOOR Winter Farmers Market! The ribbon cutting took place on Tuesday, and hundreds of people entered the new space to shop for local goods. Check out the new Farmers Market on Tuesdays from 3-7pm!
Well, Halloween is over, so you know what that means…Shopping! Plan ahead this holiday season and make it a goal to shop local. Eastern Michigan University’s campus is a sight to be seen in the fall. The brightly colored trees against the historic architecture and winding paths makes an afternoon stroll truly delightful. Walk around during the day, and catch a show at EMU Theatre for their production of Vital Signs. This show is a series of comedic and dramatic monologues about the female experience. The show will take place in the Sponberg Theatre on November 18, 19, and 20.
Knitting nights, beer tastings, concerts, yoga, coloring nights! There seems to be no limit on the number of events at Cultivate Coffee & TapHouse.
